Can You Recycle Your Toothbrush?

toothbrush2.jpg Recycle your toothbrush? Why not? Fifty million pounds of toothbrushes are tossed into U.S. landfills every year. Don't let yours be one of them. Several companies now offer eco-friendly products or programs that enable you to recycle or reuse your toothbrush.

You can recycle old toothbrushes into cool bracelets by first pulling out all the old bristles then putting them in a hot oven and bending them into a round shape while they are still warm, put in ice cold water to maintain new shape and your done! Its a great project to do with kids.
