Bush Administration: Polar Bears Threatened by Global Warming
Thursday December 28, 2006
Polar bears need to be protected from the effects of global warming, according to a proposal by the Bush administration to make polar bears a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. But does the Bush administration's new concern for polar bears also signal a new intention to address the broader problems of global warming? Photo courtesy of Scott Schliebe, USFW

I agree with Sandra, Bush is hurting us more than helping us. Now its affecting even the strongest of animals. Yes, I think the Polar bears should be endangered species in order to protect them from pochers or hunters, but how is enlisting them as endangered going to help them to withstand Global warming? Bush needs to take control or at least someone has to.
We don’t need oil. Question? If everyone stopped buying and leasing new gasoline powered cars, how long would it take before the Government and car manufacturers roll out the hydrogen powered fuel cell cars and hydrogen fueling stations? If money is power, loss of revenue is the most powerfully persuasive tool.
