Are Cell Phones and Microwave Radiation Really Unhealthy?

Thursday August 23, 2007
While research about the effects of cell phone and microwave radiation exposure show mixed results, some evidence is hard to ignore. For example, after assessing brain damage in lab rats exposed to what would be "normal" cell phone use, the study authors expressed concern that today's young people "may suffer negative effects, perhaps as early as middle age." (1) DRJG says:

Most cell phone users are unaware of risks they are taking in using cell phones, and also of the fact that the inconclusiveness of proof (whether true or merely so claimed by vested interests)is not proof of contrary.

What one needs to ask oneself is – does one wish to be part of the statistics to provide proof of the negative effects of cell phones?

Simply put, do you wish to risk your brain just because no one is yet admitting the dangers of using cell phones?

Of course, what is advisable is to keep and use cell phones for emergencies, and very little else. Limit the time spent on each call, limit the frequency of use, switch off or redirect to a landline whenever possible (at home, at workplace).
