Tap Water in 42 States Contaminated by Chemicals
Thursday August 30, 2007
Public water supplies in 42 U.S. states--the tap water millions of Americans drink every day--are contaminated with 141 unregulated chemicals for which the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has never established safety standards, according to an investigation by the Environmental Working Group. Learn more about what may be lurking in your drinking water, what that means for your health, and what public utilities nationwide are doing to make drinking water safer. 42 states is alot! have you thought of purified water? duh!
Purified water is the same as bottled water. AND Bottled water is VERY Acidic. Out bodies need Alkaline to be healthy. Look up PH water on the net. Water – is Good, don’t get me wrong, but water needs to be not only pure, but the right PH for the body to use it correctly.

You’ll find a lot of information on this report and associated topics. Generally speaking, tap water is pretty safe and so is most bottled water, but this problem is going to become more complex as time goes on. We have a finite amount of fresh water on the planet, and we’ve already polluted a lot of it to the point where it is no longer safe to drink. We’re going to need to clean up our water supply and keep it clean.
Billions of people already are without regular access to clean drinking water. As the population grows, that problem will get worse unless we take action to expand the global supply of clean water.
