Condoms to Help Preserve Amazon Rainforest

Conservation, like politics, sometimes makes strange bedfellows, and the latest news from Brazil is a case in point.

While most people think of condoms as contraceptives and health aids, to prevent pregnancy and the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, the Brazilian government has some up with an environmental use for condoms: preserving the Amazon rainforest.
