Global Water Supply Drying Up as Population Grows

Friday May 9, 2008
Water covers 70 percent of the Earth's surface, yet billions of people lack access to clean water. Population growth in many water-stressed countries, plus excess water use in developed countries, is shrinking water resources worldwide and raising fears about water scarcity.

Many scientists and world leaders believe the most serious potential shortage facing the world today is not fuel, or even food, but water. Water is the one thing no living thing can do without for long, and there is no substitute.

Learn more about the growing worldwide water crisis and what you can do to help.

Too little water or too many people? If technology saves us this time, will it only be saving us so it can fail us next time we reach our limit?

Quantity of water on earth is constant. It neither increase nor decreases. The only way to solve the drinking water problem is to convert gaseous water to liquid water by biocondensaton of gaseous water. It is long lasting, economical and efficient.

The key phrase here is ‘increasing population’.
Mankind and its needs are a black hole. It demands and devours all available resources, it never fills up but grows larger and demands even more.
You could increase free water forever and all population will do is increase and surpass the supply. This also applies to food, oil, etc.
